Location:
The hotel is located approximately 1.5 km from the city center on the A701. The Royal Mile, Edinburgh Castle and Holyrood Palace are in the immediate vicinity. Its location on a major bus route makes it easy to reach all parts of Edinburgh. Waverley train station and bus station are less than a mile from the hotel. The hotel is located near the southern part of the city center, close to the Old Town, the University of Edinburgh, the Royal College of Surgeons, theaters, pubs, restaurants and shopping. This area is a lively mix of small shops, Victorian and Georgian-style properties and lush tree-lined avenues.

Facilities:
The city hotel was built in 1750. The hotel is happy to welcome guests into one of the rooms: 2 single and 9 double rooms are available. The friendly staff at reception will be happy to help with any questions you may have. Facilities include luggage storage and a safety deposit box. WiFi is available in the house. Assistance with booking excursions is available at the tour desk. The accommodation also includes a library. Those arriving by vehicle can leave it in the hotel parking lot. Services offered include 24-hour security, translation services and room service.

Accommodation:
Individually controllable heating ensures a comfortable room climate in the rooms. The carpeted rooms have a double bed or a king-size bed. A tea/coffee machine is also standard.
